MacTechnics  SIGs (Special Interest Groups)

The MacTechnics Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a gathering place for anyone who would like to explore topics specific to your individual interests. SIG sessions normally precede our monthly meeting and you can expect one or two each month. Currently available SIGs include:

  • Digital Imaging - Explores the digital image world and the variety of tools and techniques to work with your digital photos and make them stand out from boring snapshots
  • InDesign - Investigate page and website layout using Adobe's InDesign application. Get tips from knowledgeable users and how they've used InDesign in their professional and personal work
  • Genealogy - Learn about how you can track down your family history and learn about your ancestors
  • iPad, iPhone, iPod - Talk with fellow MacTechnics members about how they are using Apple's IOS products and applications
  • Mac Basics - Acutually, this SIG gives you the opportunity to go beyond the basics and learn about Mac techniques, tools applications and great deals on software, music, and great products to complement your Mac experience
  • The Guru Table - A special place where you can get your questions answered by our MacTechnics experts. Not really a SIG, but a lot of interesting information gets exchanged while the questions get answered. When available, the Guru Table is a special treat
